Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each individual.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development.
- Monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to coordinate care.
- Stay current with developments in the field of applied behavior analysis and related disciplines.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
- Familiarity with behavioral health concepts and interventions.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and professionals.
- A background in special education is a plus.
