Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with behavioral challenges, implementing treatment plans designed to improve their quality of life. Your expertise in behavioral therapy will be essential in helping clients achieve their goals while providing support and education to their families.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to client care.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
- Provide patient care with empathy, ensuring a supportive environment for clients.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately when discussing client needs and progress.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and terminology.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
- Ability to educate clients and families effectively about treatment plans and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, families, and team members.
