Position Summary
The Co-Director of Life Opportunities shares responsibility for overseeing our day services program, ensuring that individuals receive quality support and that staff are trained, supervised, and equipped for success. This role is vital in maintaining compliance, expanding community partnerships, and creating inclusive opportunities for those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Life Opportunities day services program
- Supervise program staff, providing training, performance feedback, and support
- Ensure compliance with CARF standards and individual support plan goals
- Develop curriculum and track service outcomes
- Collaborate with outside agencies and secure program funding
- Provide referrals and support to individuals and families waiting for services
- Participate on the Safety Committee and complete required reports
- Promote community inclusion and grow the program’s presence
- Maintain RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification (required or willingness to obtain)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or a behavioral field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong supervisory, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing curriculum and positive behavior supports
- Familiarity with CARF accreditation standards (preferred)

Hours
- Flexible, The hours shall include some evening meetings, overnight conferences, etc.
