Dining Experience Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate dining associates to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are met. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment while providing excellent service to our residents, families, and staff.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure that all food is served in a timely manner and meets quality standards for presentation and taste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and food storage areas.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and reporting shortages.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, nursing staff, and residents regarding dietary needs and preferences.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and dietary practices.

Requirements

• Able to work both day and evening shifts, from 7am-2pm and 4-7pm.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with residents and staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition principles is beneficial but not mandatory.
