The Abington Public Schools is accepting applications for the following position for the 2025-2026 school year: Principal (Woodsdale Elementary School - Grades 3 & 4) Role and Responsibilities: Serve as the instructional leader for all teachers and building staff, following a clearly articulated mission and vision that leads to sustainable student achievement outcomes Create an environment where staff work collaboratively to reach high levels of student growth; and maintain a culture of high standards and positive expectations that all children can perform at high levels Lead an MTSS process that is grounded in data analysis to deliver targeted student intervention Supervision and evaluation of teacher performance results in actionable feedback Support/provide ongoing professional development in instructional practices, curriculum, and technology Determine the needs of families and community members and involve them in decision-making Collaborate with districtwide leadership team to ensure a cohesive preK-12 educational and instructional model that leads to success for all students. Strive to ensure equity among programs and learning opportunities for staff, students, and families Ensure school wide implementation of the School Improvement Plan as well as the District Strategic Plan Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools
