Inventory Specialist
For over 50 years ABL Wholesale Distributors has been the premiere single-source distributor serving retailers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We are growing and currently searching for a skilled Inventory Specialist. This position will play a crucial role in managing inventory processes and developing employee's skill with various ProCat Modules. This position reports to the Inventory Manager.
Responsibilities
- Counting Inventory - creating count batches via CDR & StockRight
- Utilize Android wearable device for executing ProCat modules
- Making Adjustments into CDR system
- Upkeep of Slot Location & Item Tags throughout warehouse
- Assist in slotting product throughout warehouse
- Process negative quantity reports, adjust as needed & investigate

Understanding & executing training through the various ProCat Warehouse Modules:
- ReceiveRight
- PickRight
- StockRight
- CountRight
- LoadRight
- ShipRight
- TaxRight
- Utilizing ProCat reports to assist in productivity, efficiency and correctness of inventory
- Execute pick area analysis for product relocation based on sales movement
- Work directly with other departments within ABL (Purchasing, Sales, I.T., Finance)
- Process Customer & Vendor returns when needed Other tasks and responsibilities as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Management or similar preferred
- 3-5 years of inventory or warehousing experience
- 2-4 years of leadership and training experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially within Excel
- Knowledge of ProCat Technologies, AS400, and ZiiZii are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and climb ladders/mobile stairs
- Ability to operate hand pallet jack, carts and 2-wheeler to move product
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in cooler/freezer climates
Hours
- Monday - Friday
- 8am - 430pm during training (30-90 days)
- 530a - 2pm after training
