Regional HHA Instructor Bilingual RN

Here follows information about the position: :

• • Assists with staff development needs of employees and facilitate the educational programs to meet those needs.
• • Facilitates the provision of a branch orientation program to encompass all Caregivers.
• • Assists Director of Nursing with compliance review.
• • Assists other branch offices with paraprofessional training, in-service and skill competencies.

• • Ensure compliance with NYS HHA & PCA training requirements
• • Teach classes and provide supervision of trainees during clinical training.
• • Administer certifications for the HHA on the New York State registry.
• • Conducts pre/post-employment skills and assessment activities.
• • Perform competency evaluations of caregivers
• • Assists as needed with the ongoing clinical audit functions to assure compliance with company standards
• • Other duties as required

• • The candidate for this position must be a Registered Nurse, preferably bachelor’s, prepared with licensure in New York State and acute or homecare experience with the last two years. Valid NYS licensure.
• • Knowledge of governmental home agency regulations, Medicare/Medicaid (as required) regulations, and Company policies are required.
• • Good organization and able to communication with students at all levels
• • Self-motivation, assertiveness and independent decision-making skills are essential.
• • Bilingual English and Spanish, a plus

• Salary range: $85,000 to $100,000
