Overview
Able Rigging Contractors is are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations and providing insights that drive business decisions. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Controller to ensure the integrity of financial data and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Duties
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and company records.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and tracking payments.
- Process weekly certified payroll.
- Ensure project insurance certificates are issued.
- Utilize financial software for efficient accounting processes.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
- Support corporate accounting functions by ensuring all entries are recorded accurately.
- Monitor debits and credits to maintain balanced accounts.
- Provide technical accounting support as needed to resolve discrepancies or issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation processes.
- Experience with financial software is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not required; relevant experience will be considered.
