Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant PRN
Opened in the Spring of 2021, The Club at Lake Gibson is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility located minutes away from the intersection of US 98 and the I-4 interstate. In this role as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant you will:
- Carry out treatments instructed by the occupational therapist.
- Detect signs and symptoms of favorable and unfavorable reactions.
- Record and keep current treatment schedules.
- Ensure timeliness of paperwork.
- Consistently perform at the required productivity level.
- Accurately and regularly record all pertinent information regarding the occupational therapy treatment program.

Qualifications:
- Must have an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant course approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Hold and maintain a current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the state where our facility is located.
- A license must be in good standing.
- One year of experience in a skilled nursing facility is desired.
- Able to relate positively, favorably, and motivate patients and families and work cooperatively with others.
- Be observant and accurate in recognizing and documenting patient change.
- Knowledge of principals involved in applying standard therapeutic procedures and a broad range of adaptive devices.
- We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment.
