AbleLight is currently hiring an SLS/ILS Area Director (Bay Area)
Job Summary:
Directly responsible to the Area Vice President, California for the development, direction, and coordination of supports for the people served and providers in our SLS/ILS service line. Prepares departmental budgets and ensures budgetary compliance. Authorizes invoices for payment. Oversees the development and implementation of the Individual Service Plan system and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsible for managing all business and programmatic matters of assigned services/supports in accordance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards and within budgetary guidelines. Actively supports people to choose and achieve the highest quality of life. Duties include overseeing all personnel management, financial management, and community and public relations. Provides training to host home providers on an ongoing basis and as needed. Develops and cultivates positive relationships with constituent families and other stakeholders. Supports the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values, ensuring that individuals are assisted in practicing their faith and treated with the utmost respect.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human service or related field
- 2 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
- Must have cleared and approved criminal record check.
- Must have legal status in the U.S.
- Must hold First Aid/CPR certification.
- Must have ability to travel among assigned sites.
- Must be able to assist with a two-person lift of an adult.
- Must be able to do frequent bending and lifting.
- Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours at a time.

- Arranging or providing orientation and training;
- Providing direct oversight of providers;
- Maintaining a quality assurance program;
- Developing and maintaining individual budgets,
- Providing an environment that is conducive to the welfare of the service recipients;
- Understands federal, state, local and organizational regulations.
