Job Title : Apprentice Electrician (Oil & Gas Sector)

Job Summary :
We are seeking dedicated Apprentice Electricians with 2-4 years of experience in the oil and gas upstream and midstream sectors. This role involves assisting in the construction and maintenance of well pads, compressor stations, meter stations, and liquid handling facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical systems, instrumentation, and conduit installation, with a focus on safety, learning, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities :
- Instrumentation and Support : Assist in installing and terminating instrumentation, PLCs, and IJBs under supervision.
- Conduit and Tray Installation : Support the layout, running, and securing of galvanized conduit and aluminum tray systems.
- Heat Trace Systems : Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of heat trace systems for piping and equipment.
- Electrical Panel Work :
Help install, gland, and terminate transformers.
Qualifications :
2-4 years of hands-on electrical work, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
Apprentice Electrician license in Texas or New Mexico is a plus but not required.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, heat trace, and VFDs.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
