Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in both commercial and residential systems. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance (PM) on commercial rooftop package units and residential HVAC units up to 25 tons. Experience with chillers or team leadership is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems (commercial and residential).
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on rooftop units and residential systems.
- Operate independently after an initial 3-4 week ride-along training period.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and team members.
- Minimum 4-5 years of HVAC experience (near journeyman level or above).
- Ability to work in extreme conditions; attic temperatures in Houston can exceed 130°ree;F.
- Experience working on rooftop package units and residential systems (up to 25 tons).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Must provide own hand tools, gauges, and drills.
- Clean driving record required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience with chillers.
- Previous team lead or supervisory experience.
