Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is crucial in upholding our standards of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
