Key Responsibilities
The Diversity and Inclusion Trainer will be responsible for executing educational programs and training sessions focused on promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. This includes:
- Scheduling and implementing training and materials tailored to different janitorial frontline team members, ensuring cultural sensitivity and relevance.
- Conducting engaging and interactive training sessions in English and Spanish for front-line team members and their supervisors.
- Traveling to various company locations to deliver instructor-led training sessions.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in diversity and inclusion training or related fields and a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Diversity and Inclusion Trainer will also be expected to:
- Foster an open and inclusive environment during training sessions.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to team members regarding diversity and inclusion concerns and appropriate reporting procedures.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
