Responsibilities
- Telematics Analysis and Safety Support
- Interpret telematics data to identify safety trends, such as speeding, harsh braking, and other risk indicators, and provide actionable insights.
- Support the Safety team in developing interventions based on telematics data to address high-risk behaviors and improve driver safety.
- Collaborate with operations management teams to help them understand telematics insights and implement safety-focused changes.
- Fleet Operations Support
- Leverage a strong understanding of fleet operations, including maintenance, compliance, and vehicle lifecycle management, to support safety efforts.
- Provide guidance on integrating telematics insights into broader fleet management strategies.
- Data Visualization and Reporting
- Ensure that telematics data and reports are accessible and understandable for non-technical audiences.
- Present findings to Safety and Operations teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Use tools to create reports that communicate safety-related metrics and trends to stakeholders
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Fleet Management, Business Administration, Safety, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in fleet operations, and telematics systems.
- Skills
- Proficiency in telematics systems and data analysis tools required
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting telematics data to identify trends and inform decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of fleet operations, including maintenance, compliance, and risk mitigation processes.
- Experience using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools, to create dashboards and reports that communicate metrics and trends to stakeholders, preferred.
