Supervisor Job description
Schedule / Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30pm - 7:00am

Hours / Week: 40.0 (30 minutes unpaid lunch per day / shift)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Mission Statement:
- Supply/Material/Equipment: Location and getting things back. appearance, shift distribution, maintenance, repair, functionality.
- Presentation: Personal grooming and uniform; vehicle cleanliness, maintenance and safe driving.
- Training: Has the team member been trained? Does my team understand our Mission Statement? How can my SWOPs, Janitor Closets, and quality control inspections be utilized as training tools?
- I will not let unsafe practices occur; safety must be in every phase of our SDS.

- Will the decision you make pass the face-to-face explanation you will need to make to client and your manager if the outcome is less than desirable?
Financial:
- Minimize overtime (working weekends with 2 days off during pay period)
- Increase tags through work orders, phone/email requests
- Report service calls
Responsibilities:
- To lead your team to surpass our Mission Statement objectives, improve our presentation of service, improve decision making skills and grow as leaders individually and collectively.
- One unit, (you are a campus wide leader) same goals, same commitment for academic, housing and events.
- Improve ECS service by being accountable; introduce/communicate with ECS or Athletics manager. Get your face out there and be accountable!
- Utilize resources (personnel, equipment and best practices)
- Focus on your shift, your accountability. You’re here 8 hours. Mindset must be whatever occurs during my shift I’ll take care of it.
- Communicate shift to shift; pass on information don’t dump to next day.
- Report service calls
- BUILDING INSPECTIONS SAFETY, SWOPS…. Communicate with employees
- Assist employees on everything they need start and end of shift.
- Monitor timekeeping and report issues to the Admin Team.
- Assist other areas as directed per manager
- Enforce ABM rules and regulations – respect, integrity) attendance etc.
- Share daily responsibilities between supervisors (don’t dump all responsibilities on one supervisor)
- Supply/Material/Equipment: Location and getting things back. appearance, shift distribution, maintenance, repair, functionality.
- Assign staff (Towson, ABM, Employee)
- Maintain records - be consistent (Supervisor Daily Report)
- Re-focus touch point/impression area cleaning.
- Minimize spread of communicable health issues - toilet paper, soap, restroom supplies get contaminated and can cause spread of health issues.
- Don’t leave equipment, carts, etc. anything out where it doesn’t belong.
Physical Demands:

- Individual may be required to stand, seat and walk for the majority of the work shift.
- Individual may be required to lift up to 50 pounds for the majority of the work shift.
- Individual may require distributing supplies effectively, following lifting techniques and safety guidelines, especially if supplies are heavy or require multiple trips.
- Occasionally individual may require helping changing trash gondolas.
The position is located on a college campus. Performance of job duties involves going up/down steps, ramps, elevators, including crossing campus streets between assigned buildings.
