Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Evaluate patient medical needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based medical care, including treating chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed
- Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care and maintaining a comprehensive plan of care
- Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong knowledge base of HIPAA and OSHA regulations, proficiency in computer-based data management programs, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and Microsoft Office applications. A valid state driver's license and automobile insurance are also required.
