Responsibilities
- Evidence-Based Medical Care: Plan, direct, and evaluate patient medical needs.
- Patient Examination and Treatment: Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses.
- Laboratory and Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Collaboration and Referrals: Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care and maintaining a comprehensive plan of care. Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary.
- Patient Record Keeping: Ensure patient medical records are kept up to date.
