Responsibilities
- Providing Evidence-Based Medical Care: Plan, direct, and evaluate patient medical needs to ensure they receive the highest quality care possible.
- Treating Chronic and Urgent Episodic Illnesses: Examine and treat minor injuries, accidents, and other illnesses or injuries.
- Interpreting Laboratory and Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests as needed to inform treatment decisions.
- Collaborating with Healthcare Professionals: Work with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care and maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
- Referring Patients to Other Healthcare Practitioners: Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Maintaining Patient Medical Records: Ensure patient medical records are up-to-date and accurate.
