Your Responsibilities
As a Nurse Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include examining and treating chronic and urgent illnesses, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining comprehensive care plans. You will also be responsible for ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed, ensuring patient medical records are up-to-date, and providing referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess an active state Nurse Practitioners license, current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification, and active state DEA licensure. A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is also required, along with five or more years of nursing experience, preferably with at least two years of nurse practitioner experience. Strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in medical instruments and equipment are also essential.
