About the Job
- This role involves examining and treating chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and other health issues.
- You will collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based medical care by planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical needs.
- Examine and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions, including minor injuries and illnesses.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain comprehensive patient care plans.
- Refer patients to other healthcare practitioners when necessary.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent experience.
- An active state Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification.
- Active state DEA licensure.
- A minimum of two years of nurse practitioner experience.
