About the Role
The Medical Care Specialist will provide evidence-based medical care for seniors and patients with complex needs. This involves planning, evaluating, and delivering comprehensive medical services. The specialist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless care experience.
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine medical check-ups and provides treatment for chronic and urgent conditions
- Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed
- Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Provides referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
- Current National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Five or more years of nursing experience; at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred
