Responsibilities
- Delivering Evidence-Based Medical Care: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, examining and treating chronic and urgent illnesses, minor injuries, and other health issues.
- Collaborating with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with caregivers and healthcare teams to provide interdisciplinary care and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ordering and Interpreting Laboratory Tests: Conduct diagnostic testing as needed and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
- Providing Referrals and Support: Offer referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary and ensure seamless transitions of care.
Qualifications
- A current state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA licensure
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- At least two years of experience as a nurse practitioner or five years of nursing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work effectively in an electronic medical record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office applications
- A valid driver's license with automobile insurance
