About the Role
The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and active state Nurse Practitioners license, as well as current National Board Certification and DEA licensure. At least two years of nurse practitioner experience is preferred, along with strong interpersonal communication skills and time management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provides evidence-based medical care to patients by planning, directing, and evaluating their medical needs
- Examines and treats chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses
- Collaborates with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care and maintaining a comprehensive plan of care
- Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed
