The Nurse Practitioner - Patient Advocate position involves performing evidence-based medical care by planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical needs. You will examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses.
You will order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed and collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care and maintaining a comprehensive plan of care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an active state Nurse Practitioners license, current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification, and active state DEA licensure. A Master's degree in Nursing is also required, along with five or more years of nursing experience and at least two years of nurse practitioner experience.
