About the Role
We are seeking a skilled nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to plan, direct, and evaluate patient medical needs in various settings, including home, assisted living facilities, and independent living communities.
Responsibilities
- Perform evidence-based medical care by examining and treating chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care and maintaining a comprehensive plan of care.
- Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary.
- Ensure patient medical records are kept up to date.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Five or more years of nursing experience.
- Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer-based data management programs, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
