Responsibilities Overview
The successful candidate will perform evidence-based medical care by planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical needs. Key responsibilities include examining and treating chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses. The individual must also order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed, collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care, and maintain comprehensive patient records.
Required Qualifications
- Active state license as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners
- Active DEA licensure
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- At least two years of experience as a nurse practitioner
- Strong interpersonal communication skills β verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills with accountability for daily workflow
- Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Ability to engage in moderate physical activity
