M-F with on call rotating Saturdays, on call for holidays.
Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography, cardiovascular technology, or a related field
- Several years of experience in a cardiac imaging setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with advanced echocardiography techniques like stress echocardiography or transesophageal echocardiograms
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
- Associate’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography, cardiovascular technology, or a related field
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Proficiency in the use of ultrasound equipment and related technology
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist patients as needed
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
