Abound Credit Union has a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and highly skilled strategic leader as the incoming Card and Payment Services Director. This position has a unique opportunity to bring new and inspired ideas to the Card Services and Payment Services Department team and become an integral part of the Credit Union's engaging culture, where contributions are valued and appreciated.
Reporting to the Chief Finance and Administration Officer, this individual will be at the helm of various member initiatives. These include supervising and leading back-office payments and card operations, investigating ways to improve member service by enhancing card programs and payments technologies, and adeptly managing competing priorities on a daily basis. The Director will provide seamless service to other Credit Union departments, meeting crucial timelines, and possessing an extensive working knowledge of payment and card services systems and networks.
A minimum bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required. Must have an accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation. Must have 5-7 years of comparable experience in the financial services industry, including supervisory experience. Experience in both Card and Payments Teams' operational functions and product innovation, development, and implementation is required. A detailed understanding of regulatory requirements such as REG E, NACHA, REG CC, and UCC is needed.
