What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Manager - Remote position at Abound Health?
Abound Health is seeking an Intake Manager to join our Intake team working remotely (in the US East Coast hours). In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Operations. The Intake Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience while maintaining high standards of care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of Intake Specialists, fostering a positive and supportive environment while providing guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with Abound Healths standards.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the intake process, ensuring that all responsibilities are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to questions and inquiries from referral sources, assisting with multiple referrals as needed, and obtain intake, referral, and admission information to assess service appropriateness and meet recipients' needs.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities or Mental Health experience required.
- 2 years of people management experience required.
- 1 years of intake experience required.
- Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
- Customer service experience is a huge plus!
Education:
- Bachelors degree in human service or related required.

Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay.
