About Kids and Adults Too Home Health Care is a provider of pediatric/adult, occupational, physical, speech and feeding therapy services. Our Therapist provide the highest level of pediatric and adult care.

We offer care services ranging from specialty therapies, applied behavioral analysis, skilled nursing, to basic personal care assistance.

We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapy Technician who loves working with the pediatric or adult population to provide home-based therapy services. We are looking for clinicians who live in or nearby the following areas:

• Pueblo, CO

Duties:

• Assists Physical Therapist (PT) with providing consumer services by using observational skills; assists with documentation of the care provided.
• Assists with documentation of evaluations and development of a rehabilitative plan of care as required.
• Assists in the preparation of clinical and daily progress notes; all notes are reviewed by the PT and submitted per agency policy.
• As directed, physically assists the Physical Therapist with performing routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises and assists the consumer with the use of self-help devices.
• Observes and records activities and findings in the clinical record as instructed by the Physical therapist. Completes documentation on the same day as the visit.
• Attends rehabilitation department staff meetings and case conferences as required for the Physical Therapist.
• Organizes the daily schedule for the Physical Therapist and confirms on a weekly basis the scheduling of supervisory visits for the Assistants supervised.
• Drives the Physical Therapist to all scheduled visits and meetings using the company car. Help schedule maintenance visits for company car accordingly.
• Assumes other duties deemed appropriate and necessary by the PT and as designated by Agency Supervisors/Management.
• The ability to drive and the ability to access consumers’ homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible are required.
• Hearing, eyesight and physical dexterity must be sufficient to assist the Physical Therapist accordingly.
• On occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move consumer weight up to 250 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
• The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing in English is required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• CPR Certification
• Home Care experience preferred
