Are you an experienced and motivated professional eager to grow in both Human Resources and Staffing? About You In Home Care is seeking a HR & Staffing Assistant to join our dedicated team! We are a well-established in-home care and staffing agency committed to providing high-quality personal care services to a diverse clientele, including the elderly, children, and adults requiring specialized care. We also staff hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities with healthcare professionals such as caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, and RNs.
Role Overview:
As an HR & Staffing Assistant, you will play a vital role in managing both Human Resources functions and Staffing operations to ensure smooth daily operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Maintain and update HR files, records, and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Respond to applicant and employee inquiries regarding the hiring process.
Assist with conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding for new hires.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling employee records.
Staffing Coordination Responsibilities:
Review and manage scheduling for caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, and RNs across various facilities.
Ensure client shifts are filled promptly, following designated scheduling processes.
Communicate shift changes with caregivers and clients.
Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
Coordinate with the office manager and staffing team to maintain high-quality service.
Work on a rotating schedule, which includes remote on-call coverage on weekends and some holidays.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in human resources, staffing, or a related field.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Adaptability: Ability to switch between HR and staffing tasks as needed.
Schedule & Work Environment:
Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (In-Office)
