Role Overview: As a Territory Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within Suffolk and Nassau County. You will actively seek new business opportunities, manage existing client relationships, and work closely with the sales team to achieve targets and grow revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Provide exceptional customer service and address client needs and concerns promptly.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our products or services. Provide accurate information and demonstrations to clients to support their purchasing decisions.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and territory performance. Use CRM tools to manage and document client interactions and sales progress.
- Negotiation: Handle negotiations and close deals in alignment with company policies and objectives. Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and other internal stakeholders to align strategies and ensure consistent messaging.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record in sales
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and closing abilities. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
