Our focus at Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center is supporting our clients in their recovery journey by regaining control of their lives, regardless of their economic status. As an outpatient, "walk-in", behavioral addiction treatment center focused on harm reduction, we are committed to meeting our clients where they’re at and addressing the broader context of their lives, including education, employment readiness, interpersonal relationships, and physicial health.
As part of our new nutrition and primary care services we are partnering with National Kidney Foundation of Illinois to orivide kidney testing for our clients and members of the community. We are looking for volunteers to help with check in, blood glucose and blood pressure testing. You don't need to have medical training (but it is a plus!) we will train you day of!
The event is 1 15-6pm and you can come for the entire time or for one shift from 1 15pm-3 45pm or 3 30-6pm.
