Position Title: Customer Inventory Analyst
Location: WI
Duration: 6 months contract
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote within the US
Pay Range: US $25.00 per hour

Who we are looking for / Requirements:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Inventory Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for order management, tracking, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively via email and phone. Candidates with a solid background in customer service and a four-year degree in supply chain management are highly preferred. Previous experience in supply chain and proficiency in SAP are required to excel in this role.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management
- 1-2 years of experience in managing customer inventory and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment system is desirable (SAP, Data Alliance, True Commerce).
- Ability to clearly and precisely communicate orally and in writing to individuals and groups.
- Ability to communicate precise innovative Logistics and business solutions to customers and team leaders/members.
- Ability to adapt and support the organization through times of change.
- Ability to assess business views strategically.
- Ability to build strong sustainable business relationships at various levels throughout organization and with key customers.
- Ability to precisely and proficiently conduct strategic business and data analyses and data driven recommendations for improvements and advancements.
- Ability to operate and use laptops and other technological devices/software programs to communicate with other people.
- Ability to proficiently use and perform key functions of Microsoft Excel software program. Should also be proficient in data access tools and PC based applications (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:
- Provide customers with value-added inventory management services while representing the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders and participate in cost-effective order fulfillment strategies.
- Manage superior customer service and inventory levels through in-depth technical knowledge, analysis, and review of systems and reports.
- Address supply chain inefficiencies by identifying and resolving issues and transferring knowledge across teams or departments.
- Follow established processes for stock replenishment and order fulfillment while identifying potential improvement opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
- Communicate discrepancies in promotional forecasts with stakeholders and collaborate to improve sales forecasting accuracy.
- Carefully manage promotional orders to minimize distribution costs.
- Maintain order fulfillment systems (e.g., EDI, VMI, CMI) and all relevant files to ensure successful execution of customer requirements.
- Support team members to meet internal and external customer needs effectively.
- Provide superior customer service with up-to-date product information, stock availability, and alternative plans for unfulfilled orders.
- Build and maintain loyal customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Organize and prioritize weekly and monthly activities to drive operational success through the Customer Logistics Solutions Management System.
- Foster a respectful and motivating environment to enhance individual and team performance.
- Adapt to varying environments and responsibilities, setting priorities to identify issues and potential solutions.
- Make timely and strategic decisions aligned with business objectives, and communicate changes and developments to relevant stakeholders.
- Adjust team strategies to meet changing market conditions and operational requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage customer inventories and generate orders using data analysis and company systems, including Order Management, Vendor Managed, or Co-Managed Inventory systems.
- Assist business customers in planning and managing promotions and product rollovers.
- Ensure thorough understanding of customer processes, objectives, and expectations to align internal and external supply chain processes.
- Report to the Customer Logistics Solutions Manager and work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including Field Sales, Customer Order Associates, Customer Replenishment Specialists, Business Planning, Deployment, Distribution Analysis, Distribution Operations, Transportation teams, Product Supply, Customer Strategies, and team leaders.
