Position Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Evansville, IN
Duration: 6 months contract
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Pay Range: US $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

Who we are looking for / Requirements:

• Grafana.
• Elastic Pipelines.
• Elastic APM.
• OpsRamp.
• Cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Kubernetes (K8s).

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:

• Participate in complex projects and design new implementations to support business initiatives.
• Ensure proper logging for new transactions to enable accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with application development teams to provide logging, monitoring, and alerting requirements for projects/releases.
• Standardize alert payloads as outlined in SRE procedures.
• Work with Level 2 and Level 3 teams to update dashboards based on process changes.
• Maintain appropriate alert thresholds.
• Create and maintain dashboards for the EMC and other OMF teams upon request.
• Validate that CMDB data fed to BigPanda is accurate and up-to-date.
• Develop and maintain validation scripts for team execution.
• Identify and pursue new learning opportunities for personal and team development.
• Apply newly acquired knowledge to improve on-the-job performance.
