Driving Instructor

We’re looking for a dependable and safety-minded Part-Time On-Road Driving Instructor to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with students behind the wheel, helping them build safe driving habits and the confidence needed to succeed on the road. This position offers 15–30 hours per week, and some weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-road driving instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels
• Teach students safe driving techniques, traffic laws, and defensive driving strategies
• Conduct individualized in-car lessons that focus on skill development and confidence building
• Evaluate student progress and offer clear, constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson progress, and evaluations
• Communicate professionally with students and/or guardians regarding scheduling and expectations

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience in instruction, coaching, or working with students preferred
• Patience, professionalism, and a commitment to safety are essential
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are required

Certification Requirement:

• All instructors must complete a state-approved driving instructor certification course
• Tuition for the certification course must be paid out of pocket by the employee
• The company will reimburse the full cost after 90 days of active employment
