Requirements / Who We Are Looking For
Our client seeks a Project Site Scheduler to prepare summaries and detailed schedule reports for construction monitoring projects.
- Schedules, reports, and project activities will be updated as the project team or management requires.
- Work closely with the project scheduler, project manager, site manager, engineering, equipment, supply chain, commission teams, and other project services staff to support detailed planning, scheduling, and reporting activities for each project engineering, construction, and commissioning monitoring stage.
- Must have previous experience in project scheduling and reporting.
- Construction Equipment field experience is preferred.
- Presentation skills required in meetings.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Excel.
- Working knowledge of Primavera (Oracle) software.
- Must be able to assist the project team in planning workflow and phasing as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
- Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Solid analytical skills to collect and interpret data.
- Proficiency in understanding industry terms and project safety protocols.
- Professional demeanor.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Managing schedules and activities for medium to large companies.
- A bachelor’s degree or technical degree is preferred.
In this highly visible role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Report to the site manager responsible for the onsite project, construction monitoring, and commissioning schedules.
- Work with the site project team to provide the necessary scheduling information and reports to perform construction monitoring and commissioning services.
- Assist in schedule needs relative to contract schedule vs. current or approved recovery schedule as the project team requires.
- Provide schedules, reports, and information that must be issued for daily, weekly, or ad hoc meetings as required.
- Develop resource loading of schedules (and reporting) when required.
- Work with other contractual parties on the project as requested by the project manager and site manager to provide information regarding the performance of construction services and equipment deliveries accomplished and upcoming.
- Provide any required schedule risk analysis or reports as requested by the project manager and site manager for use in project reports and meetings. These are used to determine the overall project duration and milestones and schedule forecast activities for construction services and equipment deliveries needed by the on-site project team.
