Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience working with various hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process by fabricating and assembling components to ensure high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed, including operating forklifts if certified.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues during the assembly process and report major issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints or assembly instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
