DOT Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload goods, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of materials.
• Handle manual transmission vehicles when required, demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience with heavy lifting and moving materials safely is essential.
• A valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory for all positions.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
