What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Cutting Operator position at Abox Packaging Company?
POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is the responsibility for safe and efficient operations of the die cutter machine. The Die Cutting Operator will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitor the machine, and correcting any issues. This person will be responsible for the quality of the die-cutting of finished products.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Reviews job ticket requirements while interacting with die cutting and production personnel.
· Verifies approvals for color, copy, coating, stock type, stock gauge and stock size are congruent with job ticket.
· Reviews specific cutting, scoring, perforating or other related requirements.
· Reviews coating K/O requirements.
· Pull sheets from press run to verify job and quality requirements are consistently met during die cutting process.
· Ensures that nonconforming material is appropriately segregated and tagged prior to leaving the pressroom.
· Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
· Attention to detail, accuracy and precision is essential.
· Works in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates teamwork.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and experience running of Foil Stamping, Embossing and debossing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent GED.
· Two (2) years’ related experience as a Die Cutting Operator.
