Accounts Payable Clerk Key Responsibilities :

  • Match and reconcile invoices to purchase orders
  • Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile vendor accounts
  • Verify tax, freight, and reportable amounts for 1099 vendors
  • Organize and maintain accounts payable files
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to resolve pricing and tax discrepancies
  • Complete manual payments and assist with banking reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and regulations

    • What Were Looking For :

  • Education : Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Great Plains experience is a plus)
  • Soft Skills : Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and vendors
  • Detail-Oriented : Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality

    • Accounts Payable Clerk Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to communicate in a fast-paced office environment
  • Proficiency in operating office equipment, including telephone, computer, calculator, fax, and copier
