Location : Green Bay, Wisconsin
Shift : 2nd Shift, Monday Friday, 2 : 30 PM 10 : 30 PM
Compensation : $55,000 - $58,000 annually (based on experience)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Layout Inspector to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all manufactured parts meet strict quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision measurement tools, blueprint reading, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM and VMM).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections and measurements using standard equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and optical comparators.
Read and interpret blueprints with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to verify part specifications.
Operate and program Computer-Controlled Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision measurements.
Utilize Computer-Controlled Video Measuring Machines (VMM) for advanced dimensional analysis (preferred).
Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance and production teams.
Identify and report non-conformances and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams for corrective actions.
Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T principles .
Experience with CMM operation and programming (required).
Experience with VMM systems (preferred but not required).
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure product quality.
Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced manufacturing environment .
