Customer Service Representative
Schedule and Compensation:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- $18-25/HR, depending on experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will support customers with parts requests, clarify their needs, provide quotes, and process orders. You’ll actively drive sales by offering new and add-on products and generating leads for our Outside Sales team. You’ll primarily work with OEMs, industrial companies, and heavy equipment customers who utilize fluid power.
Essential Functions
- Process customer orders and inquiries via phone and email, including pricing, product availability, and delivery times.
- Provide accurate quotes and assist with fluid power components.
- Handle stock checks, backorders, and shipping schedules, and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Address issues with shipments, such as defects or incorrect items, and manage customer returns.
- Seek opportunities to grow business accounts, utilizing techniques like add-on and up-selling.
- Maintain thorough customer service records and history for accounts.
- Foster positive customer relationships and work to increase customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluid Power or Industrial Distribution degree preferred, or hands-on experience in fluid power or a related field.
