ABR is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a respected local manufacturer, where you'll play a key role in assembling custom machinery and material handling equipmentnot just routine production work. While previous mechanical experience and attention to detail are essential, comprehensive in-house training is provided, offering a great opportunity for career growth.
Schedule : 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 2 : 30 PM - 1 : 00 AM
Wage : Starting at $19 per hour
What Youll Do
- Assemble components and subassemblies to build high-quality machinery
Install engines, compartments, pumps, tires, conduit, and hydraulic lines, ensuring proper pressure settings and functionality
Use power tools and wrenching techniques to assemble and secure parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulic systems onto large equipment
Lift and position completed subassemblies and parts for final assembly
Operate overhead and jib cranes to safely move steel beams and columns as needed
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support production and quality standards
Follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures
What Were Looking For
Prior mechanical experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Regular attendance and reliability are essential
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
