ABR is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a respected local manufacturer, where you'll play a key role in assembling custom machinery and material handling equipmentnot just routine production work. While previous mechanical experience and attention to detail are essential, comprehensive in-house training is provided, offering a great opportunity for career growth.
Schedule : 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 2 : 30 PM - 1 : 00 AM
Wage : Starting at $19 per hour
What Youll Do
- Assemble components and subassemblies to build high-quality machinery
- Install engines, compartments, pumps, tires, conduit, and hydraulic lines, ensuring proper pressure settings and functionality
- Use power tools and wrenching techniques to assemble and secure parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulic systems onto large equipment
- Lift and position completed subassemblies and parts for final assembly
- Operate overhead and jib cranes to safely move steel beams and columns as needed
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support production and quality standards
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures
