Job Title : QA / Sanitation Supervisor
Schedule : Friday to Tuesday, 4 : 00 PM - 1 : 00 AM (or until sanitation is complete)
Pay : $23.00 per hour
Position Overview :
We are hiring a dedicated and proactive QA / Sanitation Supervisor for our 2nd shift team at the Gruber facility. In this role, you will oversee quality assurance and sanitation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards while maintaining a clean and efficient production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate QA and sanitation team activities.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (HACCP, USDA, and SSOP).
Oversee the Sanitation Program, evaluating and improving its efficiency.
Act as the primary liaison between production teams, supervisors, managers, and regulatory agencies.
Support audits (third-party, customer, and government) and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
Lead training sessions on GMPs, HACCP, Food Safety, and product quality standards.
Coordinate daily sanitation efforts and maintain detailed records.
Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues with actionable recommendations.
Develop and validate master sanitation schedules.
Monitor and manage inventory for sanitation supplies and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of production zones and facility operations.
Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure proper equipment cleaning and care.
Analyze pest control data and implement corrective measures as needed.
Skills and Qualifications :
Required Skills :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of sanitation and production processes.
Preferred Skills :
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Familiarity with quality management systems and software.
Education & Experience :
Education :
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience :
A minimum of 1 year in food manufacturing quality assurance or sanitation.
