Abra is looking for a DBA for a client in Rishon Lezion to be responsible for the proper management of databases in the organization.
Role includes:
- building the data models;
- designing databases;
- maintaining data availability for users;
- advising system developers on the subject;
- managing a team or being a senior application DBA.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field.
- Experience in parameter tuning, backups, performance improvement, upgrades, installations, DR setup, working with Big Data, data compression, and database encryption.
- Experience working with large and critical databases in large organizations with over 2000 computing clients, medium organizations with 500 to 2000 computing clients, or small organizations with fewer than 500 computing clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Another bachelor's degree, along with an advanced course in computerized information systems of at least 300 hours.
- Graduate of a computer/technology track in a technical college.
- Graduate of a technological unit in the IDF (Mamram, 8200, Communications and equivalent units) and/or BRAM, provided they worked in the technological field subject to appropriate approval.
- Ability to work evening and night hours for special maintenance tasks.
- License and ability to reach the site for work in isolated work environments.
- Good verbal and written expression skills in Hebrew and English, and ability to document and prepare documents.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to integrate into team work.
