• Clean and service equipment as needed
• Program CNC machines to support various projects and research
• Assist with the operation of additive manufacturing printers
• Print parts for students and faculty in the Additive Manufacturing Lab
• Maintain and service the 3D printers
• Perform light welding and fabrication tasks on an as-needed basis for various projects.Shift Specifics
• Up to 20 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availabilityRequired QualificationsEducational Requirements
• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.Preferred QualificationsPreferred Experience
• Knowledge of CNC, 3D Printing, Welding, Electronics and CAD / CAM are desirable.Proposed Salary$10.00 per hourThis is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.Required Documents to Attach
