Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time teacher for 2024-2025 to teach Tanakh as part of the high school’s Limudei Qodesh department. Members of the Limudei Qodesh department also facilitate a daily Shacharit minyan.

Applicants should have a passion for teaching texts and a proven track record of outstanding differentiated instruction to students of different abilities and learning styles. A Bachelor’s degree is required; professional training in education and / or a graduate degree preferred.
Candidates must be proficient in biblical texts, and have a love of teaching and learning these texts in their original languages. Applicants are expected to be passionate about fostering connections between a diverse student body and our sacred texts. Candidates should enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curricula and must be passionate about their personal and professional growth.
